Kento Hybrid® — The Scalable Future of Corrugated Printing & Converting

A Smarter Path to Digital Transformation

The corrugated packaging industry is evolving fast, driven by the need for flexibility, speed, and sustainability. Yet plant managers still face barriers to adopting full digital printing — high ink costs, limited formats, and steep initial investments. Kento Hybrid® was engineered to solve these challenges. Designed exclusively for corrugated, it combines flexo and single-pass inkjet printing — plus inline rotary die cutting — in a modular, scalable, and cost-efficient system. Recognized with multiple international innovation awards, this technology is helping converters across three continents turn complexity into opportunity.

Modular, Scalable, and Built to Grow with You

Every plant’s needs and budgets are different. That’s why Kento Hybrid was built on a modular concept that grows with your business. You can start with a low-CAPEX configuration to unlock hybrid printing at an affordable entry point. As production volumes expand, additional flexo, priming, or finishing modules can be integrated, transforming the same line into a fully automated hybrid printing and converting solution. This flexibility makes Kento Hybrid an investment that evolves with your business — not one that limits it.

Analog and Digital in Perfect Synergy

Kento Hybrid bridges the gap between flexo and digital. It uses 1 to 3 flexo units to apply solid backgrounds or spot colors with low-cost analog inks, and a single-pass inkjet module to print high-definition graphics and personalized content in one pass. This approach reduces plate usage, shortens setup time, and cuts digital ink costs by up to 80%, delivering faster ROI and improved OEE. Compared to conventional flexo, Kento Hybrid excels in short and mid-run production up to 100,000 sq ft, perfectly aligned with today’s order patterns.

New for 2025: The 66” Inline Rotary Die Cutter

Kento introduces the new 66-inch inline rotary die cutter (RDC) — the first of its kind in digital corrugated printing. Equipped with a four-shaft vacuum feed table to ensure precise substrate control, higher throughput, and flawless die-cut accuracy — all within the same inline workflow. The result is a complete print-and-die-cut solution that maximizes efficiency, shortens cycles, and reduces waste.

Proven, Recognized, and Ready to Deliver

With installations in Europe, North America, and Africa, Kento Hybrid has demonstrated technical excellence and business impact across markets. Its hybrid concept has earned multiple innovation awards, helping converters improve margins, agility, and sustainability — while unlocking new business opportunities.
