ColorDry XL3000 with AutoDryer Control and InKomand are fully automated and synchronized with press operation, ensuring that both drying and ink management respond dynamically to changes in press speed, substrate, and environmental conditions. By automating the use of energy to maintain ideal temperature, JB’s AutoDryer Control manages dryer power to maintain optimal drying conditions across the dryer zone and throughout the press. This eliminates human intervention, the habit of overpowering, and leads to a significant reduction (guaranteed 30%) in energy use. ColorDry XL3000®, the industry’s most advanced and safest infrared dryers, remain the cornerstone of the JB product line. The system allows converters to achieve the highest quality print possible at high speeds while diecutting in-line for efficient single pass operation, including inside/outside printing. ColorDry XL3000 includes JB’s Sentinel® sheet detection, Lead Edge Sheet Detection (where applicable) and the optional VisionMaster® in-press real-time 1080p video monitoring and incident recorder. InKomand® automatically makes precision adjustments to maintain ideal ink temperature, viscosity, and pH to sustain stable print conditions and optimum drying throughout the order. The system is equally effective on brown box and high graphics print. This true “set and forget” system makes real-time adjustments to maintain consistent color, optimize drying to ensure repeatable results throughout the order, and further reduce operator intervention, turning what used to be manual, experience-based, or best-guess adjustments into an exact, automated, hands-free science. AutoWash® eliminates manual scrubbing and downtime. At the push of a button, all plates are cleaned in a minute or cleaned, dried, and ready for use or storage in under four minutes. The 1.5-second “in-production” print defect cycle removes defects without interrupting production. The soft brush roller provides effective deep cleaning of all plate screen ranges and mats using a finite injection of environmentally friendly cleaning solution followed by a rapid, high-velocity air drying cycle.
