Fastmarkets RISI’s Pulp & Paper Week published its April price review for containerboard. Prices were up $30/ton domestically for both linerboard and medium (up a total of $50/ton from January). RISI notes that overall box demand remains steady. Known higher input costs, driven by events in the Middle East, including fuel surcharges, appear to be supporting pricing.
