Entries Open for 2027 AICC Student Design Competition
November 6, 2026

AICC is calling all packaging and design students to enter the 2027 AICC Student Design Competition. If you’re currently enrolled at a college, university, or technical school, this is your chance to put your skills to the test on a real-world corrugated packaging challenge. The deadline to enter is Friday, May 28.
The annual competition provides students with the opportunity to demonstrate creativity, structural design expertise, and graphic design skills through the resolution of a real-world corrugated packaging challenge. The competition is designed to support the development of emerging packaging professionals while connecting student participants with the independent packaging community.
Here’s the bonus: The Independent Corrugated Packaging Foundation (ICPF) will donate $500 to each school that submits an entry to the 2027 Student Design Competition. An ICPF representative will contact the advisor or professor listed on the entry form to coordinate the details of each donation.
The 2027 Student Design Competition reflects AICC’s continued commitment to cultivating the next generation of packaging professionals and supporting the educational institutions that prepare them for careers in the industry. The competition offers students a meaningful platform through which to apply classroom learning to challenges representative of those encountered in professional practice.
