At the core of our technology is the patented CCM® OCT Dust Filter, a continuous cleaning modular system that redefines how facilities manage airborne particulates. Unlike traditional baghouse systems that rely on compressed air and reverse-pulse cleaning, the CCM® OCT Dust Filter uses oscillating and rotating suction nozzles to clean filter media automatically—every few minutes. This eliminates pressure spikes, manual resets, and airflow disruptions. The result is stable, efficient filtration that keeps your operation clean and compliant. The CCM® OCT Dust Filter is also engineered for explosion-proof performance. Its fully antistatic construction, internal grounding, and non-combustible design eliminate the need for external housings, explosion venting, or relief panels. It operates safely inside production environments, with direct sprinkler coverage and visual inspection access—reducing long term cost of ownership, the need for extra fire protection equipment, and simplifying facility layout. ERS systems can be installed entirely indoors, protecting service and maintenance from weather-related delays or exposure. This also means no conditioned air is lost—filtered air is returned directly into the facility, preserving HVAC efficiency and reducing energy costs. Here’s how the full system works: scrap is collected and conveyed then separated from the dust-laden air stream before filtration. This is accomplished using either a large roof mounted cyclone separator or ERS’s Low Profile Separator (LPS). The LPS is ideal for space-constrained environments, offering compact, high-efficiency separation without roof penetrations or airlocks. It reliably isolates heavier corrugated scrap from airborne particulates and can be mounted directly over balers or compactors. Once the scrap is routed to a baler it’s compacted for recycling. Meanwhile, the dust-laden air continues to the CCM® OCT Dust Filter, where it is cleaned continuously without compressed air or regeneration cycles. The collected dust is then discharged via a cyclone separator into a dust pucking press, where it is compacted into dense, manageable pucks. Pucked dust is then deposited into the baler—eliminating disposal costs. ERS scrap recovery systems are equally advanced.
