SmartView™ Board Inspection System (BIS) is Martin’s latest innovative offering, available through its new Exclusive Distribution and Sales Agreement with AVCO (Lyon, France) for the U.S. market. This advanced quality assurance solution enables 100% inspection of sheets at maximum machine speed. It detects:

LBX Series Stackers with patented
Scrubber® Technology continue to lead the market in rotary die-cut performance. The
LBX is engineered for peak efficiency and productivity, combining optional multi-out capability (4-outs, un-nicked) and standard multi-up capability (4-ups, un-nicked) with superior sheet control and outstanding scrap removal to minimize stoppages and produce perfectly square, virtually scrap-free stacks and bundles at maximum die-cutter speed.
The
SBX provides a cost-effective alternative, retaining key Scrubber benefits—such as superior sheet control and enhanced scrap removal—while operating on a streamlined platform with reduced complexity.
Both models offer a full range of standard and optional features with forward-thinking adaptability, allowing configuration to meet current needs and support for future upgrades as throughput and product mixes evolve.
SmartShingle™ — 2024 AICC/BCN Innovation of the Year, addresses a critical challenge for converters: minimizing press feed interrupts during load changes. By optimizing sheet overlap, it minimizes or eliminates feed interruptions, recovering up to 10,000 sheets per eight-hour shift. Operators can engage or disengage the feature as needed for maximum versatility and control.
SmartShingle is available as a featured option on new LBX and SBX RDC stackers and can be retrofitted to existing LBX and SBX RDC stackers for enhanced performance.
Quik-Break® III (QBIII) bundle breaker is the latest iteration in Martin’s nicked bundle line solutions. QBIII is offered in a
68″ wide model, and the
extra wide 92″ model which can separate two wide bundle logs (e.g., large pizza boxes) simultaneously. It features dynamically auto-compensating gapless upper platen to separate uneven bundles and prevent edge roll, automatic bundle height sensing, soft start/stop “break and pull” cycle, a batch mode to maximize throughout on smaller bundles, and proportional hydraulics to ensure smooth operation.
