AICC has just wrapped up its Spring Meeting 2023. One of the highlights of this very successful gathering was that the 9th Annual Independents’ Cup Charity Golf Tournament brought 240 golfers to the Red and Golden courses at the Trump National Doral Resort in Miami.
After the golf fees and sponsorship contributions are tallied and netted against the expenses for the tournament, the Foundation for Packaging Education will be awarded a check as the event’s receiving charity. That money will join with donor-pledged dollars to build the foundation’s fund to a point where it can sustainably provide programming for the education of those working in the paper-based packaging industry.
The Foundation for Packaging Education salutes the Red Course winning foursome of Mike Butler of Domtar, Mark McNay of SMC Packaging Group, Tom Phillips of Bobst, and Kevin Miller of Royal Group/Schwarz Partners, and the Golden Course winning foursome of Cade and Paige Haglund of Central Packaging & Display and Austin and Olivia Umlauf of Haire Group.
If you are not a Foundation for Packaging Education donor, please consider joining the 35 companies and 10 individuals that have made a commitment. Your pledge will bring a return to your operations, as the foundation’s commitment is to your employees and their continuing education and improvement.
