Fast Markets/RISI reports that prices for uncoated recycled boxboard (URB) rose by $60 per ton in April. Coated recycled boxboard, solid bleached sulfate and coated unbleached kraft remained flat The publication reported that both buyers and sellers said that prices in the URB market were up as the market tightened in April, while demand strengthened, supporting the $60-per-ton increase. Solid bleached sulfate (SBS) conditions were stable in April, with demand steady to slightly improved, resulting in pricing holding flat.
