Leary’s solution replaces outdated glue wheel systems for a precise inside glue application. The 3-valve Sempre-i extrusion system featuring CleanStart cold glue technology has an innovative setup allowing for precise control of each glue line, ensuring consistent starts and stops, optimal flap coverage, and guaranteed adhesion. Each valve in the Sempre-i system is engineered for longevity, rated for up to one billion cycles, significantly extending operational uptime. CleanStart technology automatically applies a tip seal to the nozzle when production pauses, maintaining adhesive integrity and enabling perfect application from the very first box after restart.
For additional assurance, Leary offers integrated glue inspection options using three individual sensors or the LearyVIEW Flex camera solution, enabling real-time visual verification. These inspection capabilities minimize human error and ensure every glued box meets specifications before reaching the next stage of production.
Leary’s approach extends beyond inside gluing. For outside gluing applications, a specialized bracket system positions multiple Sempre-i extrusion valves compactly, optimizing the advantages of bottom-down extrusion. This setup not only enhances adhesive accuracy but also maintains the same CleanStart benefits—seamless startup, zero waste, and consistent glue placement from the first box onward.
