For nearly 25 years, APPI Energy, formerly Environ Energy, has proudly served AICC members through the AICC-endorsed energy consulting program, a strategic partnership that has yielded significant savings for participating members. Environ Energy provides AICC members with a comprehensive way to reduce energy expenses and minimize budgetary risks. Through our procurement services, we negotiate with suppliers to ensure you are provided with ideal pricing and contract terms to fit your needs. Our holistic suite of energy services provides financially and functionally vetted solutions to decrease energy costs, reduce demand, and improve resiliency and sustainability. With the added benefit of having merged with Environ Energy, we are now able to offer enhanced capabilities in house with an internal engineering and design team, full- scope ESG strategy team, and increased purchasing power, to name a few. Our consultants pride themselves in crafting trusted and tailored energy management solutions that fit each client’s needs.
What We Do
As the trusted energy advisor for AICC, the Environ Energy team is available to advise your teams on their energy management needs to help you meet your short- and long-term energy goals. Additionally, Environ Energy offers unbiased, apples to apples comparisons of supplier prices and contracts, evaluating AICC members’ historical energy use to negotiate favorable contracts with our stringently vetted suppliers. Moreover, our work for AICC members does not end when the contract is signed. Environ Energy continues to monitor the market for future opportunities, as well as provide ongoing customer support.
Environ Energy also goes beyond the procurement of electricity and natural gas, providing advanced services that enhance energy management, tracking, and sustainability. Environ Energy also provides efficiency and sustainability solutions such as demand response, energy reporting systems, carbon accounting and emissions benchmarking, and facility assessments. Our solutions are product and technology agnostic, ensuring your facilities are utilizing the most productive energy efficiency measures.

How We Do It
Environ Energy’s operations team gathers competitive pricing from our carefully vetted supplier companies to present a procurement strategy for our clients, empowering them to make informed decisions. We maintain a proprietary database of more than 250 million records, enabling our consultants to compare historical and real-time prices in every deregulated energy market.
Environ Energy works with only vetted suppliers and maintains working relationships with suppliers that we trust to serve our clients. Only a small percentage of suppliers meet our stringent, due diligence evaluation, which involves each supplier’s financial, managerial, and operational stability and performance.
Our work certainly isn’t done once the contract is signed. Environ Energy’s in-house Client Services team is here to help throughout the lifetime of the contract. Our team can assist with account adjustments, verify bill accuracy, evaluate government policies for financial incentives and reimbursements for clients, and even determine if a client qualifies for energy sales tax exemptions. We are here as a true extension of your team.
