pamarco-70Pamarco, a manufacturer for offset printing rolls, press accessories and consumables, is celebrating its 70th anniversary this year.

In addition, after representing Pamarco on the west coast of the United States and Canada for more than 24 years, Kent Jones has announced his retirement.

Pamarco announced Frank Greene has joined the company’s sales team as a technical sales representative for the company’s Southern California, Arizona, and New Mexico divisions.

Pamarco has also recently launched a new LinkedIn discussion group for the flexo industry—Pamarco’s FlexoPedia. The purpose of the group is to facilitate discussion regarding any facing flexo printers. Pamarco’s team of technical experts remain on hand to answer any questions to help find solutions for printers.

Eaglewood Technologies, along with Pamarco, will display the Sanilox™ 2.0 Anilox Roll Cleaning Systems at Infoflex 2016, March 78 at the Fort Worth Convention Center. The Sanilox™ 2.0 makes anilox roll cleaning totally automated in-line or off-line and will help monitor roll inventory and maintenance.

Buckeye Corrugated Inc. has acquired Drake Alliance Corporation (known as Drake Container) located in Houston, Texas. States BCI President & CEO, Doug Bosnik, “The associates at Drake have built a solid business with an excellent market reputation that we felt would fit nicely with our family of companies. Drake will continue to operate as an independent sheet plant under our decentralized operating structure, where we expect they will continue to grow and prosper in their regional market. We are excited about the acquisition and happy to have them join the BCI family.”

The Board of Directors of Container Graphics Corp. has appointed Leanne Pleasants to vice president of human resources and risk management. Pleasants has been with Container Graphics for 17 years and is in charge of Human Resources and Employee Benefits.



Bobst North America has announced Florent Tercier as regional sales manager for Folding Carton in the Western United States of Arizona, California, Hawaii, and Nevada. Tercier will be responsible for the full range of BOBST products for the Folding Carton, Commercial Printing, Print Finishing, and Specialty industries including die-cutters, folder-gluers, foil stamping, and embossing machinery.

JB Machinery, manufacturer of productivity and quality improvement tools for the flexo printing industry, has recently made several changes to its management structure. John Bird has officially assumed the title of Chair, Warren Bird is now president, Nathan Bird is vice president of business management, Tanya Rubin is vice president of finance and human resources, and Dave Burgess is now North and Central American sales director.

Menasha has won a Global award for its Pringles tortilla chip launch at the annual POPAI Global Awards at Global Shop 2016. The company also won 13 outstanding merchandising achievement awards, including one gold, four silver, and eight bronze.

In addition, Menasha also won an International Product Design award from the International Interior Design Association for its Kellogg’s Pop Tarts display.

Grupo Gondi and WestRock have been authorized by COFECE to implement an agreement which will allow them to combine their operations in Mexico to form a strategic alliance. The parties expect to close the transaction in early April. After the closing, Grupo Gondi will have 13 plants, including three WestRock corrugated packaging facilities, in Mexico.

ExcelCoatHarris & Bruno International announced they will be demonstrating their ExcelCoat series of offline/inline coaters for UV & AQ at Dscoop EMEA April 5–8. Show attendees are invited to visit Harris & Bruno booth P8 in the Tel Aviv Conference Center or attend ExcelCoat demonstrations in the Dscoop Wonderland at the HP campus in Kiryat Gat. ExcelCoat also will be demonstrated at pre-Drupa events in Israel following Dscoop EMEA.
