Alliance Machine Systems International acquired Systec Corp. and Automatan LLC.
“Alliance Machine Systems International is thrilled to acquire both Systec Corp. and Automatan LLC, marking a significant milestone in our journey,” said Marius Batrin, Alliance president. “After years of successful collaboration, Alliance, Systec, and Automatan have decided to become part of the same business structure. This acquisition is a pivotal step in enhancing our position as a comprehensive full-range solution provider for our customers.”
The entire Systec and Automatan teams will remain in place, continuing to develop equipment, with additional global engineering, sales, and customer support from Alliance Machine Systems alongside current Alliance products.
Systec, headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana, has been creating conveying equipment since 1992. Automatan, located in Plover, Wisconsin, has been producing laminators and labelers since 1976.

Solema USA appointed Kevin Gorby to its North America paperboard division sales team.
Gorby brings with him more than 20 years of experience in the corrugated packaging sector, including plant operations, automation strategy, and customer-centric solutions.
“Kevin brings the kind of practical, field-tested experience that resonates with our customers,” said Scott Ellis, president of Solema USA. “He understands the language of corrugated, the pressure points on the plant floor, and the importance of ROI-driven automation. His leadership will help us strengthen relationships and deliver solutions that truly improve efficiency and throughput.”
