The BoxMaker recently purchased and installed a Brausse ETERNA specialty folder and gluer at its northwest Arkansas location.
“The addition of a specialty folder and gluer at this location will reduce lead times for many popular box styles and help to ensure we are delivering on our promise of quality to our client accounts,” says Brett Kirkpatrick, director of trade business at The BoxMaker.
According to a company press release, the machine “is equipped to finish a wide variety of corrugated box styles including auto-bottoms, in-fold trays, out-fold trays, and straight seam styles” and “features six glue heads and the capacity to apply tape and/or tear strips up to 2 inches wide.”
DS Smith launched PackRight 2.0, a new offering featuring interactive workshops to help businesses “enhance the sustainability of their packaging using DS Smith’s Circular Design Metrics,” according to a company press release.
The company’s PackRight Centers in Indiana and Pennsylvania conduct the new workshops with customers in-person, virtually, or in a hybrid environment using tools “designed to enhance brainstorming and teamwork with clients.”
“Our PackRight Centers integrate circularity with design, improving the process needed to bring inspiration from the drawing board to the factory floor,” says Steven Rose, managing director, packaging, at DS Smith North America.

BW Converting will demonstrate at SuperCorrExpo 2024 “how corrugated printers can achieve more with less with its Baldwin and Winkler+Dünnebier (W+D) portfolio of innovative technologies for optimized corrugated high-graphics package printing and drying and e-commerce mailing bag manufacturing,” according to a company press release.
The products BW Converting will be showcasing are as follows:
- FlexoCleanerBrush™, an automated flexo plate-cleaning system
- FlexoDry IR, an IR drying system
- W+D 449, an e-commerce mailing bag machine
The event will take place at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, September 8–12.

SUN Automation Group will be highlighting two products at booth 1731 at SuperCorrExpo in booth 1731, September 8–12 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.
The products are the company’s SUN625® HD rotary die cutter and its Helios machine-learning and Industrial Internet of Things platform.

Durst announced its lineup for this year’s Labelexpo Americas, September 10–12 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Chicago. Durst will be at booth 3123.

According to an ePS press release, adding EPMS “furthers ePS’ inorganic growth strategy and pursuit of delivering greater value to customers and the industry at large. The acquisition of EPMS further solidifies ePS’ leadership position in the SMB print segment in North America.”
