Pamarco announced it has appointed Jay Callahan as technical sales representative to represent the company’s Offset Division. Callahan will be responsible for the New England region as well as Eastern New York. This is the next step in the company’s strategic plan to support our growth in those regions. Pamarco has also announced the appointment of Ron Gowan as technical manager for the Offset Division, reporting directly to Vice President of Manufacturing Carmon Madison.

Separately, Pamarco would like to congratulate Gary White on his recent achievement of being honored with the Industry Leaders Award from the Gravure Association of the Americas’ Gravure Cylinders Society.

Valco Melton, a supplier of adhesive dispensing equipment and quality assurance systems to the converting industries, has acquired Italy-based Ero, S.r.l. (ERO®). Terms of the deal were not disclosed. The move was made as part of Valco Melton’s strategy to expand its scope of offerings to customers in the paper converting industries, including corrugated, folding carton, and bag manufacturing.
HarperLove, a provider of corrugating adhesives and additives to the packaging industry, announced Gates Gravely has joined the company as director of sales and marketing.
Electronics For Imaging (EFI), Inc. announced it will move to a brand-new facility in Londonderry, N.H., to house its U.S. Inkjet business. The facility, which will be nearly a quarter-million square feet in size with room for additional expansion, is scheduled to be completed in early 2018.
In addition, EFI Inc. and Agfa Graphics have developed an integration between EFI™ Fiery® digital front ends (DFEs) and Agfa Graphics’ latest Apogee 10 system to enable joint customers to increase digital printing productivity and profits.
Phillip Mack, North American sales manager of STOCK Maschinenbau, a German-headquartered manufacturer, announced that Philadelphia, Pa.-based Weber Display & Packaging will add a new STOCK LLM/HP labeler with upstacker at its 110,000-square-foot headquarters facility in the Port Richmond area of Philadelphia.
SUN Automation Group, a global provider of solutions to the corrugated industry, announced it has entered an agreement to sell, install and service the CleanPrint Chemicals’ specialist biochemistry cleaning system throughout North America.
Buderus Edelstahl has selected OM Partners as the partner of choice for advanced supply chain planning at their Wetzlar site. OM Partners will assist Buderus Edelstahl in their transformation project to improve customer service and operational efficiency through standardization.
Young Shin USA Limited announced that Minneapolis, Minnesota-based Imagine! Print Solutions has selected the Young Shin Giant 250SII flatbed diecutter to expand its operations and support the growing needs of its clients.
Young Shin USA Limited also announced that a new Young Shin Zenith 210 Plus Diecutter will be added at Batavia Container, Inc. (BCI) based in Batavia, Ill., to support its growing production requirements. BCI has secured the new Zenith 210 Plus Diecutter that will be showcased at this year’s SuperCorr Expo to be conducted in Orlando, Florida in mid-October 2016.
Scott Bowen, Container Graphics Corporation’s corporate engineering and manufacturing manager, has been promoted to vice president manufacturing and engineering.
Eaglewood Technologies, anilox roll cleaning experts, announced the promotion of Peter J. Mulheran to vice president and general manager. Mulheran is responsible for managing the sales channel and product portfolio domestically and internationally.
Additionally, Eaglewood Technologies will launch the latest technology at the FTA Fall Conference, October 10–12 at Galt House Hotel in Louisville, KY.
