CUIR Corrugated Converting Machineryestablished a new U.S. entity—CUIR US Corp.—incorporated in Delaware.

According to a CUIR news release, converters can now conduct transactions directly in U.S. dollars. Local sales and service will continue through CUIR’s partners—Torosian Tech Services, Greene House Group, Packland LLC, and Canadian Corrugated Systems.

“For nearly a century, CUIR has stood for precision, simplicity, and reliability—all born in France, but built for the world,” said Fabien Val Duprez, president and CEO of CUIR. “Our new U.S. entity reflects our continued commitment to North America.”

Kadant Inc. acquired of Clyde Industries Holdings Inc. and affiliates, a cleaning system provider for the pulp and paper industry, among others.

According to a Kadant news release, the company has approximately 400 employees and is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, with operations in Brazil, China, Indonesia, Finland, and Canada. Clyde Industries will become part of Kadant’s Industrial Processing reporting segment.

“We are pleased to welcome our colleagues from Clyde Industries to the Kadant family,” said Jeffrey L. Powell, president and CEO of Kadant. “Clyde Industries shares our commitment to driving sustainable industrial processing, and this acquisition supports our strategic goals for expanding our industrial processing offerings to adjacent markets.”

Mid America Paper Recycling was acquired by FV Recycling (FV), a commercial and industrial recycling company based in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.

The combined company will handle over 900,000 tons of recyclable materials annually, employing 180 professionals across the United States.

“This is more than a transaction; it’s a partnership built on shared values,” said Don Gaines, CEO of Mid America Paper Recycling. “Both Mid America and FV started as family-owned businesses. We each have strong reputations built on long-term relationships, doing right by our customers, and supporting the communities we serve. That continues, but now with greater reach, more capabilities, and deeper resources.”
