SUN Automation Group launched PERFORM+, a new quarterly preventative maintenance (QPM) program designed to help box plants optimize machine performance, reduce costly downtime, and extend equipment life, according to a company news release.
The program includes quarterly on-site visits by SUN’s technicians, each conducting a comprehensive inspection, repairs, replacement of high-wear parts, and operator training.
“Unexpected downtime remains one of the most significant challenges facing corrugated plants today,” said Gokul Gopakumar, vice president of technology and business development at SUN Automation Group. “With PERFORM+, customers gain a structured maintenance solution that keeps machines running optimally, efficiently, and reliably—while avoiding the high cost of reactive maintenance.”
