Paul Hrubesky

As we bid farewell to Paul Hrubesky, our admired colleague and friend, we reflect on his remarkable 46 years in the corrugated industry (36 of those years at Fosber). Known for his dedication, exceptional sales insight, and knack for building lasting relationships, Paul leaves a legacy that will be remembered for years.

Paul began his career at Green Bay Packaging as a sample maker and quickly rose to Junior Designer. He credits two very experienced Senior Designers who taught him everything he knows. He was then promoted to PM of the Sheet Plant in Marinette, WI, to run a medium-sized plant and manage the team. He ran that plant until 1988. He had a short stint at Eddleman Industries in Albuquerque, NM, before landing his job at Fosber America, Inc., in December 1988.

Paul’s passion for the industry and commitment to excellence quickly set him apart becoming VP of Sales, holding that title until his retirement. His tenure saw the company achieve record-breaking sales and expand its market presence significantly.

One of Paul’s greatest strengths was his ability to forge strong relationships with clients (that he has to this day). His personable nature and deep understanding of the industry and customer needs has earned him the trust and respect of many in the industry. Paul has always been more than a salesperson; he’s been a partner in Fosber’s success!

Beyond his sales achievements, Paul has been a mentor to many young professionals in the industry. His leadership and encouragement have inspired a new generation of salespeople.

As Paul steps into retirement, he plans to spend more time with his family and pursue his passions. “I have the need for speed and have enjoyed boats, motorcycles, and cars, and now fishing. But through the years my biggest joy is my two grandchildren, Ellie and Declan. I can’t spend enough time with them, my three boys, and their families. Married for 28 years to my wife Holly, we recently retired to Sturgeon Bay, WI, to enjoy more time fishing and boating.”

While his presence will be greatly missed, his contributions to the industry will continue to influence and inspire. The entire team at Fosber America extends their heartfelt gratitude to Paul for his friendship, years of service, and dedication. His legacy will undoubtedly continue to shape the future of the company and the industry.
