Pitts

Bobst North America Inc. has appointed Murry Pitts as CEO-managing director and head of Bobst Service Center. Pitts has more than 28 years’ experience in the paperboard packaging industry. He is the previous owner and CEO of Carded Graphics.


Chet Rutledge joins Vanguard Packaging as its new director of marketing for retail ready packaging. Rutledge brings more than 20 years’ experience in corrugated, including almost 10 years at Walmart as a packaging design expert.

Pamarco has announced the addition of Matt Conboy, Hayden Greene and Austin Reichardt to its sales team, which is seeing increasing demands in its customer base. Conboy has more than 17 years in the industrial, automotive and packaging fields. Greene, whose father worked for the company, has experience in print and packaging. Reichardt joins Bingham Flexo Services (BFS), a Pamarco agency, and is supporting both Pamarco and BFS product lines.

In event news, Pamarco will be exhibiting at InfoFlex 2017 in Phoenix May 1–2. The company will be showcasing its engraved anilox with EFlo technology, Absolute woven carbon fiber-chambered doctor blade systems, and Inometa lightweight fiber composite components.

Pamarco has also launched its new Fidelity water rollers after a year in development. After evaluating the roller performance, Jeff Satterfield of Highland Computer Forms noted the reduction of ink and water speed, as well as the continued cleanliness of chrome and pan rollers.


width=275The Signature Folder Gluer Team at American International Machinery Inc. will be hosting Best Practices to Ensure High-volume, High-quality Runs on Your Folder/Gluer at the FSEA/IADD Odyssey in Schaumburg, Ill. The program is scheduled for Friday, May 19, and will include demonstrations by speakers Kevin Koplin and Bernie Czerwinski.


Wisconsin-based Wausau Container Corporation has added a second Young Shin Revotec die cutter to accommodate demands of high quality and quick turnaround. Young Shin provided a 90-day delivery and installation of the Revotec 106SR die cutter. This is the second die cutter purchased by Wausau from Young Shin.


Advantzware has partnered with Peachtree Packaging and opened an onsite research and development office within the Peachtree facility. This should allow Advantzware and Peachtree to collaborate on innovative ideas, solutions and integration.
