Chad Corte, new president of Kadant Johnson.

Kadant Johnson LLC recently promoted Chad Corte to president.

In this capacity, he is responsible for the company’s operations in Three Rivers, Michigan, including R&D, manufacturing, and commercial activities.

“Chad has made strong contributions to the high-performance, people-first culture at Kadant Johnson and is uniquely qualified to lead as its next president,” commented Wes Martz, vice president at Kadant Inc. and leader of Kadant’s Flow Control businesses operating in the Americas. “I look forward to supporting Chad in his next role at Kadant Johnson and helping to maximize the value we create for all stakeholders.”

Corte was promoted to vice president and general manager of Kadant Johnson in July 2024. He served as vice president of finance from 2021 to 2024 and as the director of customer service from 2015 to 2021. He began his career at Kadant Johnson in 2007 and has held various financial, commercial, and operational roles.


A look at the MINI CUIR from CUIR Corrugated Converting Machinery.

CUIR Corrugated Converting Machinery is releasing its new MINI CUIR (MC) to the North American market this spring.

According to a company news release, the MC is a two-color flexo-flatbed die cutter designed for fast setup, quick changeovers and simplified operations.

“We developed the MINI CUIR with the needs of the modern boxmaker in mind,” said Fabien Val Duprez, president of CUIR. “The machine’s compact size and quick setup time allow customers to improve efficiency while still benefiting from the superior die-cutting precision and high-quality printing that CUIR is known for. It’s a simple, yet powerful tool for operations looking to stay competitive in today’s fast-paced market.”
